The episode of Irish coffee loved the whole thing-their banter, when Mac guided Stella on her back and then the first time she fixed his tie and invited him out on a coffee 'date' *squee*. Confession-i used to be a huge LV fan(not so much anymore) and hated the idea of spin-offs, Miami justified this for me (no offence)so i was reluctant to watch NY at all but accidentally caught this eppy and some others-creatures of the night, recycling-on repeat and that's how i fell in love with this ship!I already thought they were together.Silly me I loved the tone of season one-anyone else miss it?i kind of think SMacked was their main plan then but they changed that when they changed everything else. After season 5 i think they've seen the light though. The SMacked this season was definately the closest to the smacked in s1 imo, or actually maybe even better!

Yeah, season 1 didn't go over very well with the viewers, a lot of ppl didn't like the look of the show (very dark lighting all the time, etc) so about half way through the season they brightened up a bit. And I think a lot of the reason that the whole kind of dynamic of the show changed so much after season 1 is that Mac changed. After that moment with Stella in the finale of season 1, he loosened up a lot. He never wore a tie anymore, which showed he was being slightly more laid back. He's still a very "by the book, no nonsense" kinda guy, but he lightened up a lot.
(Awww, Stella changed his life. lol!)

Aww she totally did yeah but i think he changed hers too. They have a very equal relationship now, they save each other..... Is nice to see Mac lighter but i want to see him really happy S1-Each to there own i like the brighter csi ny too but i loved it how it originally was ,dark lighting and all and wouldn't have minded them keeping it that way. Meh it's all good anyway, ny is an awesome show and i guess i was in the minority.
